Here are our Geometrical shapes! Below we have one row of SQUARES (4 equal sides), one row of CYLINDERS (a circular tube), and one row of RECTANGULAR PRISMS (3D rectangle).
On the right we have 2 TRAPEZOIDS (2 parallel sides and 2 non parallel sides) , and 3 PENTAGONS (5 sided polygon)!!!!!

I really liked the program Comic Life. I am familiar with Iphoto and PhotoShop so it was fun to learn something new.

  1. Wow you guys went all out on the photos! I think you might want to blog about how you would use digital photography in your classroom...

  2. I agree. Our pictures ROCK! :) And I think it's easy to figure out how you would use it in the class. Go on a walk with the children and find shapes outside. Then you can take pictures of things they find, or they can take pictures of it. (if you tell them how careful they should be with the camera) Then you can use Photoshop and ComicLife to show them all the things they found on their walk. I think it could be a really fun thing to do as a class.

  6. Way to choose pentagons. Those are some difficult shapes to find outside! Isn't comic life the greatest!
