Spreadsheets
We learned about spreadsheets today. I think it would be really beneficial to use the googledocs spreadsheet to create a survey that parents could fill out. This could help the parents of my students feel that they are more involved and have a say in what goes on in the classroom. I am really excited about the survey function! Also, excel makes graphing and finding totals simple once you know how to use it. I really enjoy using excel!

I really like your idea of using these things to include the parents in the classroom, I hadn't thought of that before. Now that you brought it up, I really like the idea. I think I will definitely use surveys to help the parents become more involved.
ReplyDeleteI agree I think creating surveys will be very beneficial in trying to get feedback from parents. I think it is a great way to have the parents who can't be involved be more involved.
