UEN
My favorite part about this site is the emedia. I love the videos they have on it. Searching through, I found several books and educational videos that young students would love and highly benefit from. I am still trying to figure out wimba, but the rest of this site makes perfect sense and offers so many wonderful resources!

I loved the books I saw on there too. I think it would be a great thing to do as a class is follow along in a book as you watch and listen to the book. Students just love technology...so we should learn to love it the same way.
ReplyDeleteI agree! I was kind of hesitant until I found The Magic School Bus and other videos I remember loving as a kid. It really is a great resource for teachers!
ReplyDeletewimba can be a bit tricky because it's interface is not super intuitive, but it does give you so much power to have all sorts of guest speakers come into your classroom without ever having to set foot in an airport. I think that is pretty powerful stuff. But as you said UEN has a lot of other great resources.
